May 2015 – Fiers J&B nv, the Belgium company which has been focused on producing high quality meat and poultry products for over fifty years, has been thinking about the environment. Therefore, it has begun using CNG powered vehicles to distribute its products with an existing fleet consisting of five Iveco Daily vehicles. Based on their good experience with this type of power, the company has been considering further expansion of its fleet. The vehicles are filled with compressed natural gas using four MJ Compact 05 refuelling appliances located in the company premises. The producer and supplier of these appliances is MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská.
“This project is the result of our successful business relations and cooperation within Benelux countries, specifically with the Eandis Company,” pointed out Václav Král, the CNG Sales Manager of MOTOR JIKOV Strojírenská.
MJ Compact 05 is intended for direct filling of vehicles with compressed natural gas. It is the simplest and fastest installation for the lowest investment cost. MJ Compact 05 is characterised by its low operating and service costs. The appliance contains a three-level, oil-lubricated compressor of the JIKOV brand with power output of 5 Nm³/hour and maximal output pressure of 250 bars.
