November 2013 – The first of many MJ Compact Plus CNG filling station installations, which MOTOR JIKOV is implementing in 2013, has been commissioned in the premises of PERI, spol. s r.o. in Jesenice near Prague. This installation is the first result of an exclusive cooperation with Aquacentrum Praha s.r.o. in the field of production and supply of low-power compact filling stations designed specially for internal company application.
This is a compact CNG filling station with a power 39 m3/hour, equipped with two Trident 400 compressors together with a pressure vessel (max volume 1680 l) inside a 3.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 meter concrete container. In addition to the necessary accessories the facility includes a modern electric switchboard and automatic operation control with an internet connection enabling remote monitoring. The facility is equipped with a simple manually controlled dispenser. A filling hose and NGV1 terminal are a part of the filling system.
The customer uses the filling station to fill Linde H40CNG forklift trucks powered by compressed natural gas, which brings cost savings of over 50% compared to the original diesel trucks. Supplier The forklift trucks are supplied by Linde Material Handling Česká republika s.r.o. The PERI company now operates 10 CNG-powered forklift trucks.
“The installed station expands the total capacity of filling power at the customer to 50 m3/hour and storage is increased to 2,520 l. It is actually a second station, the first one of the MJ Variant type was commissioned in PERI at the end of 2011. Regarding the positive experience with operation of the filling station as well as the forklift trucks and due to provable financial savings the customer decided on expanding its handling technology fleet and the related infrastructure,“ says Jiří Slíva, Director of the Special Machining and Production Division, which develops, produces and sells CNG filling stations.
